# Points Program

The tread.fi Points Program rewards active traders with points based on trading activity. Points are allocated weekly from a fixed pool, with multipliers available for high-volume traders and specific exchange boosts. Points can be used to vote for the next perp DEX integration through a staking mechanism. For more information please refer to this [page](/points-and-affiliates-program/season-1-trade-earn-vote/exchange-integration-voting-ballot.md).

**Season 1 concluded on May 18, 2026**

#### There is no further official information on the points mechanism for subsequent seasons at this time. Anything outside of these docs or the official tread.fi X account (@tread\_fi) is speculation.

#### How Points Work

**Weekly Allocation System**

* **Fixed weekly pool**: Each week a fixed pool of **100,000 points** is split among all eligible users.
* **Proportional distribution**: A user’s award equals 100,000 multiplied by that user’s adjusted volume for the week divided by the total adjusted volume of all eligible users that week.
* **Week reset**: The week is a fixed 7-day window from Wednesday 00:00 UTC to the next Wednesday 00:00 UTC (aligned to the season start). Weekly adjusted volume is calculated daily and posted on the leaderboard. Users with less than or equal to $100,000 in adjusted volume during that fixed week are not eligible for that week’s points distribution and do not appear on the leaderboard. This eligibility rule helps reduce dilution of the total adjusted volume and keeps allocations meaningful.

**Modifications of Terms and Conditions**

tread.fi reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the points program at any time, including program rules, eligibility requirements, points rates, exchange multiplier policies, and these terms and conditions. Continued participation after any such change constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
