# Spot Leverage

The **Spot Leverage** parameter enables **margin trading for spot markets**, allowing traders to use **leverage on supported exchanges**.

#### **Considerations**

* **Bybit-Specific Feature** – This setting is only relevant for **Bybit**, where it must be enabled to activate margin trading for spot orders.
* **Exchange-Specific Handling** – Some exchanges, such as **OKX**, manage spot leverage through **account configurations outside of tread.fi**, meaning this parameter does not apply.

This setting is useful for traders looking to **enhance capital efficiency** by using **leveraged spot trading** where supported.
