# Perpl

#### Prerequisites

* Have an account on **Perpl** ([app.perpl.xyz](https://app.perpl.xyz/)) created with the wallet you intend to use.
* **An EVM-compatible wallet** supported by Tread’s wallet connector (e.g. MetaMask, Rabby, WalletConnect-compatible wallets).
* **Deposit funds** into your Perpl account before connecting. The connection will not work on an unfunded account.
* **Enable One-Click Trading** in the Perpl app before connecting. This is required for Tread to trade on your account.

#### Linking Your Perpl Account

**Open Up the** [**Key Management**](https://app.tread.fi/key_management) **menu on** [**tread.fi**](http://tread.fi/)

* This can be accessed by clicking on the wallet icon on the top right corner on [app.tread.fi](http://app.tread.fi/) after you have logged in.

**Link Exchange Account**

* Click **Connect Perpl**
* Set your desired name for this exchange account.
* Connect the same wallet you used to create your Perpl account.
* Your wallet will be prompted to switch to the **Monad** network (it will be added automatically if your wallet doesn’t have it yet).
* You will be prompted to **sign a Perpl API key enrollment message**. This is a standard wallet signature (EIP-712) — it does **not** authorize any transaction or transfer of funds. API keys can never withdraw funds.
* After you sign, Tread automatically creates a **trade-only API key** on Perpl and links it to your account.
* Click Submit and proceed with wallet signing and confirmation.
* You can revoke this key at any time at [app.perpl.xyz/apikeys](https://app.perpl.xyz/apikeys).
